In September 2020,  Founder/Executive Director Kayla Gross was selected to participate in the Madison Entrepreneur Resource, Learning and Innovation Network (MERLIN) Mentors program to advance Equity U.

MERLIN is a Madison-based group of volunteers who have masterfully started and managed new ventures. These mentors use their skills, experience and enthusiasm to guide emerging entrepreneurs in early stage ventures to boost the potential of business success.

MERLIN was developed with the support and cooperation of various entities related to the University of Wisconsin-Madison: the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF), University Research Park, the Wisconsin School of Business, and the Office of Corporate Relations. MERLIN strengthens UW-Madison’s role as a leader in innovation by contributing to the education of UW students, faculty and alumni.
